On 17th and 18th of February, the project partners met in Florence, Italy, for the last workshop. We discussed the progress of our working paper 3, which is based on the analysis of interviews and focus groups with TCN migrants. Each partner briefly presented their main fieldwork findings and we dedicated some time also to the discussion of the focus groups; the findings, the difficulties encountered, and how we will incorporate this in our reports.

The partners are currently in the process of finalising the last working paper that will be produced for all the countries. At the same time, the coordinating team is already working also on the final comparative report, which will contain the most important findings from all the working papers, thus also offering a unique cross-country comparative dimension.

Much debate in the workshop revolved also around our publications plans. So far, plans have been scheduled to publish two joint books, one by the University of Nicosia and one by the Peace Institute. These two publications will both contain the results of the PRIMTS project. Publishing books and articles is considered an important added value by all the partners, since in this way the findings of the project will be made public and known to a wider audience, which is also one of the main purposes of the project – to have wide reaching dissemination effects.

After the workshop, the Italian partners also organised their local seminar. Local seminars are a part of our dissemination activities, which all the partners will carry out. The main aim of the seminars is to present the results of the project to the interested public and stakeholders.
